What are the safety rules for eFoils?
eFoils, which are considered personal watercraft (PWCs), must comply with Abu Dhabi Maritime’s general PWC regulations. This includes operating only during daylight hours, keeping within one nautical mile of the shore, wearing a lifejacket and staying at least 60 metres from swimmers.
Do I need any prior experience for eFoiling in Abu Dhabi?
No previous experience is required. eFoiling is beginner-friendly and doesn’t demand the same balance or strength as traditional surfing or wakeboarding. Expert instruction and stable equipment ensures most people are able to stand and ride during their very first session.
