Shaun The Sheep Live, Save Our Tree

Organised by Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi

Shaun the Sheep is coming to Abu Dhabi!

Abu Dhabi Summer Season brings the all-time favourite children’s TV programme in the form a live show “Save Our Tree!”. The show characters come alive with an unforgettable show about Shaun, the sheep who doesn’t follow the flock – in fact, he leads them into all sorts of scrapes, turning the peaceful Mossy Bottom Farm into mayhem in the meadow! Shaun and his pals run rings around their poor sheepdog Bitzer, as he tries to stop the Farmer finding out what’s going on behind his back.

The show also introduces a farm-yard full of characters including toddler Timmy and the enormous Shirley. Every day brings new adventures for Shaun and the flock from buying pizza in disguise, swallowing a duck call to digging up T. rex bones and hosting discos in the barn. With high-energy slapstick and classic silent comedy in Aardman’s world-beating style, one thing’s for sure- when Shaun’s around, the countryside ROCKS!

The Show
It’s a cold winter on Mossy Bottom Farm.  Shaun, Bitzer and his friends from the Flock; Shirley, Timmy, Timmy’s Mum & Nuts are having great fun playing around their favourite tree in the Sheep’s field.

When the farmer discovers Bitzer has used the last piece of firewood, he decides the tree has to go!  The Sheep fear the worst, until they realise that the farmer is unable to chop the tree down by himself.

However the farmer has a plan, and calls for help.  Will the Flock be able to save their beloved tree or will the farmer and his villainous accomplice succeed in giving it the chop?

Note: Kids of ages of 2 and below have free admission.
