Street Feast

Street Feast - one part of this year’s expanded Abu Dhabi Food Festival - will run over three successive weekends across the emirate giving people a chance to savour the very best of local and international street food from around the world at reasonable prices.

The caravan of food trucks will begin the festival’s activities in Madinat Zayed in the Western Region on Thursday 5th February and runs until Saturday 7th February.

The following weekend, Street Feast heads to ِAl Jahili Park in Al Ain.
From the 19th to 21st the food trucks will head to the capital and base themselves on the Corniche.
Ten international traders will be coming all the way from the UK especially for this event and be joined by a further 11 Emirati street food vendors, who will be representing the best of this exciting new food movement, serving a diverse range of dishes ranging from pizzas, tapas to lamb curries and gourmet burgers.

Among the vendors from the UK will be ATE Street Food specialising in slow cooked meat sliders; Indians Next Door offering lamb raan curries in a naan wrap, and Yogusensi with its freshly squeezed fruit bar. 
Emirati vendors will include Jones the Grocer with a wide variety of local and international food and Desert Chill – for all those ice cream lovers.

Bringing more than a decade of experience in running street food festivals across the UK to the emirate, Real Food Festivals, a division of Food Market Events Ltd, is responsible for arranging some of the largest and most popular food events held in Britain.

The London-based company has been responsible for the annual Real Food Festival, attracting 400 exhibitors and 25,000 paid customers as well as the Real Food Festival Southbank Centre in London in 2012 which attracted 150 exhibitors and 300,000 free entry visitors.

The chef demo stage will be presented by Andrew Dickens and Food Network star Andy Bates. Other international chefs will include Jun Tanaka and Nichola Smith and local talent Suzanne Husseini and Fatafeat star Andrew Mitchell.

Big Apple Hot Dogs

A champion of London’s street food movement, Abiye is responsible for first bringing serious quality, tasty hot dogs to Old Street in East London. His secret recipe hot dogs (such as his halal beef dogs) have gained him legions of fans and his hot dog carts quickly spread across London and far beyond.

As part of the first wave of Americana to rock London’s food world Big Apple Hot Dogs have set the standard and led the way for street food.

Churros Bros

Trading from a beautiful and iconic Citroen H Van Churros Brothers are well known for bringing freshly cooked, to order traditional Spanish Churros served with Valor hot chocolate. 100% organic and Halal.

Especially for Street Feast Abu Dhabi, they will be serving their take on Bamieh Shirini or Zooloobiya and serving their churros with the sticky sweet rose water syrup.

Pizza Pilgrims

Inspired by the classic Neapolitan pizza, brothers Thom and James Elliot made a pilgrimage to Italy to learn the art of pizza-making in Naples itself – the home of pizza.

They came back with a tiny Piaggio van mounted with a 400kg pizza oven, from which they put their craft into practice making freshly baked pizzas on the streets!

Their amazing pizzas have seen them achieve the street food dream of bricks and mortar and have also successfully opened two restaurants in London.

Donostia Social Club

Housed in a modified Citroen H Van, fully kitted out and set up as a proper mobile tapas bar, Donostia serve food that is inspired by the Basque Country.

Donostia Social Club bring some of the magic from the city with more Michelin stars per head than anywhere else in the world and a vibrant and exciting Pintxos tradition – the Basque style and name for tapas.

Come along, pull up a stool and perch on their bar to be fed some of the best examples of authentic Basque food.

Indians Next Door

The Indians Next Door are basically the neighbours you always wished you had!

Luckily you don’t actually have to live next door to them to enjoy their warm hospitality and amazing home-cooked Indian food as they take to the streets of Abu Dhabi to serve up their slow cooked lamb raan, chicken masala, raita and salad and vegetarian curries. Their secret, special-recipe naan bread is baked onsite and guaranteed to melt in your mouth!

The Roadery

The Roadery do British 'Head to tail' food from the hatch of a beautiful 1979 Renault Estafette van.

Highlighting some of the forgotten cuts of meat that deserve a place on our plates, these guys are creative chefs.

They will be presenting their low and slow cooked beef cheek Braco’s (British taco) with a home-made blackberry hot sauce, fresh mint yoghurt, tomato salsa, coriander & pickles; a Halloumi Braco and an Earl grey panna cotta for dessert.


Yogusensi are a fresh fruit smoothie & freshly squeezed fruit juice bar dealing in the stuff to revitalize & nourish your body & mind.

Cheese Truck

The Cheese Truck has been noted as one of the top new food trucks in London to watch out for by Zagat and when they roll up in their bright yellow 1973 Bedford CF van, you won’t be able to miss them!

Their ex-ice cream van has now been put to the honorable duty of making oozing, grilled cheese sandwiches of the highest order.
