Leather Making: The Basics Of Leathercraft

Discover the the Basics Of Leathercraft, through a three-day leather crafting course which will be intensive and completely hands-on. From drawing patterns to hand-stitching to painting on leather, participants will get an in-depth experience of each step that goes into making a leather product. They will leave having made a range of accessories, including card holders, coin purses, and handbags. The course is taught by Naresh Kumar, founder and creative director of 24th Street, a leather atelier in Dubai.

Warehouse421 is a home-grown arts and design center dedicated to showcasing and nurturing creative production from across the region. Working in collaboration with local, regional and international entities, it seeks to aid the development of the UAE’s creative ecosystem through learning, research and commissions.
