Natural history has a new home in Abu Dhabi. The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is a new museum set to open in the Saadiyat Cultural District in 2025. It's designed to take visitors on an epic journey spanning 13.8 billion years of Earth's history and a look at our planet's future.

Prepare to be amazed as you travel through time and space and learn about everything from the origins of the universe to the future of our planet, through immersive displays, interactive exhibits and more at the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. Some of the highlights of this museum in Saadiyat Island, are the world-famous 'Stan', a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton and the Murchison Meteorite.
The museum covers an area of more than 35,000 sqm. It was designed by the Dutch entity, Mecanoo, and resembles natural rock formations and geometric shapes, and is accompanied by water and vegetation, which reflects the museum’s goal of improving our understanding and connection with the natural world.
