Abu Dhabi Showdown Week 2024 | UFC 308
UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation, and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), announced UFC’s much anticipated next championship event in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, October 26 at the Etihad Arena.
UFC 308 will also see the return of fan favourite Abu Dhabi Showdown Week with a seven-day series of city-wide events, dedicated shows, hotel promotions, star studded events and much more.

2019: UFC & DCT announce five-year partnership
UFC, the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation, and the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi announced a ground-breaking five-year partnership to bring UFC events to the capital.
The first Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, headlined by UFC 242: Khabib vs. Poirier, attracted 14,000 fans.
2020 UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje
UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje did not only witness Khabib’s unforgettable title defense win, but it also marked his monumental retirement. The emotional event marked a milestone for the two partners, UFC & Abu Dhabi.
2021 UFC 267: Blachowicz vs. Teixeira
UFC 267: Blachowicz vs. Teixeira marked a new milestone for Abu Dhabi, making it the first city outside of Las Vegas to host four UFC numbered events.
Simultaneously, Glover Teixeira produced a stunning performance to win the light heavyweight title fight in the main event, becoming the second oldest UFC champion in history.
2022 UFC 280: Oliveira vs. Makhachev
Oliveira vs. Makhachev offered one of the most stacked fight cards of the year – with two title fights, two women’s bouts, and Arab fighters entertaining the sold-out crowd.
