When you step inside Al Derwaza you’re immediately transported to the traditional Emirati houses of the past with bold, bright drapes adorning chairs and eating corners and classic Arabic carvings decorating the walls.
Guests can choose to sit on plush floor pillows or at a dining table. There is also a private dining room. All meals at Al Derwaza are freshly prepared from the finest ingredients.
The menu offers a variety of traditional dishes packed with flavour. Specialties include delicious nashef served with rice and Emirati spices, a selection of biryani, saloona and grills, as well as gorgeous Arabic and Emirati sweets and desserts.
