Etihad Airways – The UAE’s national airline

Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. As an airline, Etihad has come a long way in a short time – just like its home, Abu Dhabi.

The airline was established by Royal (Emiri) Decree in July 2003 and is wholly owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi, with a mandate to operate safely, commercially and profitably.

Etihad’s guests are at the heart of everything it does. The airline is in a perfect geographical position and offers its guests a wide network of passenger and cargo destinations, with a young and environmentally-friendly aircraft fleet.
