Juliet's
Abu Dhabi Experience

My mornings start with a slow walk along the Corniche. It's quite soothing to watch the city wake up. I never planned to stay. My husband's job brought us here, and what was meant to be a temporary chapter quietly became the longest, most meaningful one of my life. We raised our children here. We built our home here.

The days have their own steady rhythm. I go to work, I come home, I walk the dog through streets that feel safe and genuinely kind. That might sound ordinary, but these neighbourhoods have a warmth to them. People look out for each other. Families from all over the world, living side by side without friction. It's the kind of place where you let your guard down.

Then the children grew up and left, and I found dancing. I walked into that studio not knowing quite what I was looking for, and I walked out knowing I'd found it. The joy of it, the music, the other women in the class laughing and moving, it lit something up in me that I hadn't realised had gone quiet. Abu Dhabi gave me the space to reinvent myself, not because I had to, but because I finally could.

I came for someone else's dream and discovered my own. This city held my family through every season, and now it's holding me through this one too. That's not something you plan. That's something you're grateful for.
