Abu Dhabi to host IFMA Youth Muay Thai World Championship—a first for the Middle East!

For the first time in the region, Abu Dhabi will welcome the IFMA Youth Muay Thai World Championship, marking a major milestone in the UAE’s ongoing commitment to hosting world-class sporting events.

The championship will bring together national teams from over 100 countries and more than 1,200 male and female athletes across various age groups.

This landmark event is part of the Federation’s strategic vision to elevate Muay Thai on both regional and international stages, fostering growth and long-term success for the sport.

Hosting the championship in Abu Dhabi reflects the UAE’s strong partnerships with global sports federations, its distinguished international reputation, and the proven organisational excellence of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation—renowned for delivering acclaimed world and Asian championships.

The event is organised by the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation in collaboration with the International Federation of Muay Thai Associations (IFMA).
