Drums at Louvre Abu Dhabi

The drum has been an ancient way for us to communicate, express and unite.

Throughout history and to present day, you can find tribes, from all over the world using this instrument as the foundation for their identity. In this live performance, we use the drum as the tool to show the connection between continents, cultures and generations through dance. From African dance, to Khaleeji dance and all the way to Breakin and Streetdance from the current generation.

During the event at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, we will have multiple performances with the mentioned themes. The dancers will use the beautiful architecture of the Louvre as the stage. There will be specialized dancers, that can do African, Khaleeji, and Break dance.
