MICE Agency Reward Scheme

The Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB) acknowledges that our intermediaries such as the MICE agencies, meeting planners, travel management companies & incentive planners play a dynamic and critical role in supporting the destination with corporate meetings and incentive travel programs. The intermediaries are often the first touchpoint for corporates pitching for a destination. In addition to training and equipping intermediaries with the latest updates on our products and experiences, we recognise that more needs to be done to ensure that intermediaries are motivated.

So the ADCEB developed and launched the MICE Agency Reward Scheme to incentivise international and local-based intermediaries with rewards when they successfully refer and convert business events to Abu Dhabi.

The scheme’s criteria and reward thresholds, applicable to international and local-based intermediaries, are explained below.

International & GCC Intermediaries

These rewards are available to MICE agencies, meeting planners, travel management companies and incentive planners based outside of the UAE. The rewards are as follows:

Cumulative of 500 participants

  • 2 international air tickets (including airport taxes) to Abu Dhabi

  • Accommodation at a 5-star hotel for 2 nights

  • Round trip airport transfers


Cumulative of 1000 participants

  • 4 international air tickets (including airport taxes) to Abu Dhabi

  • Accommodation at a 5-star hotel for 2 nights

  • 1 new experience for 4 + guided kayak tour

  • Round trip airport transfers


Cumulative of 2000 participants

  • 6 international air tickets (including airport taxes) to Abu Dhabi

  • Accommodation at a 5-star hotel for 3 nights

  • One dinner for 6 persons in a 5-star hotel

  • 2 new experiences for 6 + Emirati house experience

  • Round trip airport transfers

UAE-based Intermediaries

These rewards are available to UAE-based MICE agencies, meeting planners, travel management companies & incentive planners. The rewards are as follows:


Cumulative of 100 participants

  • 1 retail shopping voucher*

Cumulative of 200 participants

  • 2-night accommodation at Qasr Al Sarab

  • New experience for 2


Cumulative of 400 participants

  • 2-night accommodation at Sir Bani Yas Island

  • 1 dinner for 2 persons in a 5-star hotel

  • New experience for 2

  • 1 retail shopping voucher*

Terms and Conditions

  • The agencies can apply to participate in the program by booking MICE groups to Abu Dhabi during the qualifying period (June 2022 – December 2022) for Group Traveling between June 2022 – December 2023.

  • The loyalty points will be tracked based on the AAD form submission and credited for redemption, post travel. Quarterly report will be generated.

  • The agencies will be able to claim different rewards based on the different tiered of confirmed business to Abu Dhabi.

  • The top performing agencies will be invited to Abu Dhabi for recognition, based on targets.

  • Each company will be tracked based on the submission of groups as per Advantage Abu Dhabi Form. The points will be credited to the tracker performance two weeks after group arrival.

  • Redemption for hotel stay and flight tickets are subject to availability, terms and conditions. Not valid for public holidays in Abu Dhabi.

  • The incentive rewards is non-transferable and non-refundable if not utilized within 6 months from the date of issue. It is also not convertible to cash.

  • Flight tickets are only applicable to destinations with direct flights to Abu Dhabi, not limiting to Etihad Airways only. Flight tickets exclude insurance and other misc. charges and are to be borne by the recipient of the flight ticket.

  • ADCEB reserves the right to substitute the reward with other items of similar value.
