Al Wathba Cycle Track is one of the best and most scenic cycling destinations in the UAE. Surrounded by miles and miles of desert, this area’s ethereal landscape played a starring role in the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with a cycle here promising picturesque vistas, especially during sunrise and sunset.
The illuminated track can be broken down into several routes. Beginner cyclists can ride the 8-kilometre or 16-kilometre routes, while expert cyclers can take on the 20-kilometre, 22-kilometre or full 30-kilometre routes.
You’ll find this unique track near the Camel Race Track, approximately a 40 to 50-minute drive from Abu Dhabi.
