Al Bateen Ladies Beach

**The Beach has been closed from July 4th onwards in order to facilitate its redevelopment.**
Al Bateen Ladies Beach Abu Dhabi has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag sustainability award by the Emirates Wildlife Authority and as a dedicated ladies-only beach, it can accommodate up to 1,100 women and children in its waters. The whole of the shoreline can welcome almost 5,000 visitors to sunbathe, relax and enjoy the amazing facilities.
Safety and privacy are top priorities for this Ladies Beach in Abu Dhabi. Female lifeguards are on guard ensuring safety, but cameras, animals, fishing and camping are strictly prohibited. Fences and barriers ensure privacy.
You can access the facilities at the eastern end of Al Bateen Beach. Entry is AED 25 for adults and AED 5 for children aged 3 to 12, and boys over the age of 6 are not permitted. Open daily from 8am to 9pm, the beach allows swimming only until sunset.
