Mamsha Al Khair is an inspirational public landmark made up of a granite monolith and limestone installations set along the Abu Dhabi Corniche promenade. Carrying inscriptions from the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the quotations engraved in the granite monolith installation reflect the UAE leadership’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of generosity and giving among Emiratis, residents and visiting travellers.
Mamsha Al Khair showcases inspirational quotes every 30 metres along Abu Dhabi Corniche’s iconic promenade, from the East Plaza to the intersection at the impressive Emirates Palace hotel. The symbolic installations and walkway invite visitors to engage and interact with the pieces, taking pictures and videos while chronicling the UAE’s long-standing reputation for promoting social awareness and imparting the value of giving back to society.
The 76 quotes inscribed on the limestone panels along the Corniche walkway are from globally renowned inspirational figures and aim to invoke a spirit of volunteerism, increase awareness for the importance of social responsibility, and encourage future generations to aspire to humanitarian values and foster a legacy of generosity.
