An excellent Friday on Yas Island

There’s no shortage of Friday fun on Yas Island – Abu Dhabi’s epicentre of entertainment, events and experiences. Start things off with a high-octane thrill ride through Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – the world’s fastest rollercoaster that reaches a rocketing 240km/h within 4.9 seconds, lifting you 52 metres from the ground.

Later, wind down with the little ones at Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, the world's largest indoor theme park, or shop to your heart’s content at Yas Mall. The nearby Yas Bay Waterfront also has dozens of dining and nightlife options, suitable for all ages.

Spend Saturday at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi and Al Maryah Island

Everyone will be amazed by the seasonal Abu Dhabi Ocean Weekends at SeaWorld Yas Island. Perfect for warmer weather, visitors can explore the unique Arabian Gulf marine ecosystem and learn all about Abu Dhabi’s connection to the ocean and it’s incredible wildlife, through a variety of activities. The weekend activities run from 12 April to 16 June.

If you’ve got anything left in the ‘tank’, you could explore plenty of fine dining options on the nearby Al Maryah Island, home to Nobu, BB Social Dining, Bentley Kitchen, Flamingo Room, Zuma, and many more. Across the street, there’s also plenty of casual dining fare in The Galleria Al Maryah Island, with family fun including a multiscreen cinema, escape room, and VR gaming options.

Enjoy a day of celebrations with a range of incredible dining packages, perfect for the spring season. Make memories with a relaxing Monday

After a busy few days, it’s time to unwind at Soul Beach – one kilometre of pristine, light golden sand, that will transport you to a blissful place. As the waves gently lap on the shore, you can scan the QR code on your sun lounger for a range of refreshments and beachy bites, or simply take a stroll down Mamsha Al Saadiyat, where you’ll find a wide range of cafes and restaurants for every taste.

If you’re sufficiently zen and ready to squeeze in another experience, Louvre Abu Dhabi is open year-round with an incredible permanent collection that tells the shared story of humanity. Fingers crossed, the Cartier exhibition is still running when you arrive. ‘Cartier, Islamic Inspiration and Modern Design’ allows guests to discover the influence of Islamic art on Cartier’s designs and creations.
