Al Ain's public buses are an affordable, air-conditioned way to get around the city, with routes linking residential areas, shopping centres and popular attractions. Use a Hafilat smart card to pay for your bus fare. Depending on your travel needs, cards start at AED 10. You can buy these cards at the bus station, Lulu Hypermarket, or Zayed International Airport.
Taxis are one of the easiest ways to get around Al Ain. Hail a metered taxi from the street, pick one up outside malls, hotels and major attractions, or book ahead through the Abu Dhabi Taxi app or by calling TransAD on 600 535 353. If you prefer ride-hailing apps, Uber and Careem both operate in Al Ain.
