The first Bollywood production to be filmed in Abu Dhabi, Bang Bang! is a Hindi action-thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand. Featuring Indian superstars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, the movie is a remake of the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz film Knight and Day.
Everything about the Abu Dhabi shoot was pure luxury. I have always loved this city, where you have the comfort to do your own thing without anyone troubling you.

Making ample use of the wide variety and diversity of locations in the emirate, the Abu Dhabi shooting schedule was an intense and action-packed affair. Scenes were shot in the lush Liwa Oasis, the majestic Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, and the iconic Emirates Palace hotel, as well as at the world’s farthest manmade leaning tower, Capital Gate, and Yas Marina Circuit, home to the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Abu Dhabi's popularity as a destination to produce films has grown beyond Hollywood to include Bollywood; this is another step forward in the emirate's emergence as an international filming and production hub.
