Etihad Rail Passenger Train Services

Launched in 2026, Etihad Rail is the first passenger train of its kind in the UAE. Befittingly originating in the capital city Abu Dhabi, the train will branch out to connect key destinations across the Emirates as the service expands into 2027 and beyond.

If you are ready to jump on board, you can already book a scenic 105-minute train journey from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah. Fares start from AED 55, with two classes to choose from and you can book tickets directly on the Etihad Rail website.

Etihad Rail Ticket and Fares

Within every class, you have three fare options to choose from:

Saver: If your travel plans are set, this option gets you the lowest fare possible. Just remember, you can only book this through Etihad Rail's app, their booking website and contact centre.

Value: A good choice if you want to choose where to sit or make any ticket changes.

Flex: The best no-stress option for plans that don't stick. Helpful for changing your seat or tickets and getting refunds.

Fares from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah

  • From AED 55 per person — Comfort Class
  • From AED 120 per person — Premium Class

Travelling on Etihad Rail

Etihad Rail gives you two options when it comes to how you want to travel. Choose between:

Comfort Class

Complete with Wi-Fi, power adapters at every seat and space for your luggage, with plenty of room to read a book or catch up on your favourite show.

Premium Class

Choose this option for maximum relaxation with wider seats, extra legroom and complimentary refreshments along the way.

The stations and trains are designed to support wheelchair users, with accessible facilities and designated wheelchair spaces onboard.

The main Etihad Rail passenger train station in Abu Dhabi is located in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, directly opposite Dalma Mall and adjacent to the Musaffah Bus Station and Phoenix Hospital, along the pipeline corridor between the Mussaffah Industrial Area and MBZ City.

You can book Etihad Rail tickets through the official Etihad Rail website, app or contact centre.

Fares currently start from AED 55 per person in Comfort Class and AED 120 per person in Premium Class for travel between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah. More fares will be released as additional routes open.
