How do I get my F1® ticket? 
Tickets purchased will be sent to your nominated collection point 3/ 4 weeks before race weekend. Tickets can also be collected in person from Yas Marina Circuit closer to the event time. 

When will I get my F1® ticket? 
Tickets will be sent out three/four weeks before race weekend, delivery timings vary according to location. There are no cancellations, exchanges or refunds available on tickets. 

What should I do if I lost my ticket? 
If you lose or misplace your ticket or confirmation receipt, please contact the Yas Marina Circuit hotline on 800 YAS (927) or +971 (0) 2 446 0384, 7 days a week between 9am – 9pm. Spectators will not be able to access any area of Yas Marina Circuit without a valid ticket. 

Do I need a ticket to attend the Public Pit Lane Walk? 
Pit Lane Walk access is granted to three day grandstand and Al Jood & Al Dhiyafa ticketholders only and Thursday's ticket will be in your ticket pack. Gate opening times for the Public Pit Lane Walk will be confirmed closer to the event date.

Can I bring food and drinks to the event? 
Food and drink cannot be brought into Yas Marina Circuit, there are many food and beverage outlets at various locations inside the venue. 

When and where are the After-Race Concerts?
There are four After-Race Concerts - November 20, November 21, November 22, November 23. The concerts are held at du arena, Yas Island, next to Gate 25 of Yas Marina Circuit.

What time does each After-Race Concert start?
Doors open each night at approximately 7pm with the exception of Thursday the November 20 when the doors open at approximately 5pm.

Who gets access to the concerts?
The After-Race Concerts are exclusive to 2014 FORMULA1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX ticket holders.

You can buy three-day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), two-day (Saturday, Sunday) and one-day (Friday) tickets to the 2014 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX. Each F1® ticket pack includes two invitations to the Thursday After-Race Concert. The first 15,000 domestic buyers also receive two invitations for the Friday After-Race Concert. 

Three-day ticket holders get access to all the four After Race Concerts.

All two-day ticket holders get access to the Thursday, Saturday and Sunday After-Race Concerts. To access the Thursday night concert– two day ticket holders will have to use one of their invitations to access the Thursday After-race Concert. The first 15,000 domestic buyers also receive two invitations for the Friday After-Race concert – so by using one of their Friday invitations, a two-day ticket holder can access the Friday After-Race Concert. 

One-day ticket holders get access to the Thursday and Friday-After Race Concerts. To access the Thursday night concert one day ticket holders will have to use one of their invitations. One-day (Friday) ticketholders don’t have access to Saturday and Sunday concerts. 

To access the concerts, all F1 ticketholders need to collect their wristbands from Yas Marina Circuit daily. Invitation-holders must present their invitation at the General Admission entrance of the du Arena in order to access the Thursday / Friday night concert.

Who are the artists performing?
Tamer Hosny, Carole Samaha, Fayez al Saeed and Mohammed Assaf are performing on Thursday, November 20. The Friday, Saturday and Sunday acts are still to be confirmed. 

Is there food and beverage at the After-Race Concerts?
Yes food and beverage is available.

Is there an age limit to the After- Race Concerts?
There is no age limit however children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring my camera to the After-Race Concerts?
No professional cameras or video cameras are allowed. There will be a camera deposit available at the venue.

Can I buy After-Race Concerts tickets on the door?
Tickets to the After-Race Concerts are not for sale.  After-Race Concerts are only available to those who purchase F1® tickets.  Access is also allowed on the Thursday to those people with invitations for the Thursday evening After-Race Concert. Access is also granted on Friday for those with invitations for the Friday After-Race Concert 

How do I receive my invitations for the Thursday and Friday After-Race Concert?
Two invitations for Thursday November 20 will be in all F1® ticket packs. The first 15,000 UAE based race ticket buyers will also receive 2 invitations to the Friday After-Race Concert in their F1® ticket packs. Invitation-holders must exchange their invitation for one wristband at du Arena. 

Will there be a special arrangement for disabled people?
Yes. There will be a disabled viewing platform within the venue.

What are the Golden Circle Upgrades?
2,000 Golden Circle upgrades for each After-Race Concert will be given out to F1® ticket holders at Yas Marina Circuit each day.   

Where is the Golden Circle area?
The Golden Circle area at the Yas Arena is closest to the stage.

Does the wristband for the Golden Circle give access to the Golden Circle for all 3 After-Race Concerts?
No.  There will be a different Golden Circle wristband per day that will allow access to the Golden Circle at the After-Race Concert.

What does my 20% discount on FLASH events mean?
F1® ticketholders have access to a 20% discount that will be offered on selected FLASH events until February 2015.

How do I obtain the 20% discount on FLASH events?
F1® ticket holders will receive an email or SMS with an event specific password that will enable them to receive the 20% discount. The password is entered at the point of purchasing tickets through www.thinkflash.ae.

What is ‘2 Invitations’?
The ‘Invitations’ is an initiative that gives F1® ticket holders the chance to celebrate F1® with their friends and family who don’t have F1® race tickets. All F1® ticket holders will receive 2 invitations to the Thursday After-Race Concert. In addition to this the first 15,000 domestic F1® ticket holders will receive two invitations in their F1® ticket pack, to the Friday night After-Race Concert. 
One invitation is valid for one entry only. ‘Invitations’ must be exchanged for one wristband at the du Arena in order to access the THURSDAY or FRIDAY After-Race Concert on the day of the event.

Can I exchange my ‘2 Invitations’ for another After-Race Concert on the Saturday or Sunday?
No. Thursday invitations can only be used on Thursday and Friday invitations can only be used on Friday.

Can I attend the Thursday After-Race Concert if I am a one-day or two-day ticketholder?
Yes. You must use one of your ‘Invitations’ and exchange it for one wristband at the du Arena to access the Thursday After-Race Concert

Can I attend all the After-Race Concerts if I am a one-day or two-day ticketholder?
No. You can only attend the concerts for the days you purchased the tickets. In addition using an invitation you can attend the Thursday After-Race Concert - exchange your invitation for one wristband at the du Arena. 
The first 15,000 domestic ticket buyers will also receive 2 invitations to the Friday After-Race Concert. One-day (Friday) ticketholders don’t have access to Saturday and Sunday After-Race Concerts. 

Can I sell my ‘2 Invitations’?
No these invitations are only for people who have purchased an F1® ticket. They cannot be sold at a value. 

What is Y1 Access?
This is a package of benefits exclusive to F1® race ticket holders: 
  • Access to up to four After – Race Concerts
  • Selected Golden Circle After-Race Concert upgrades
  • Two complimentary invitations to all F1® ticket purchasers for the Thursday After-Race Concert
  • A pair of complimentary invitations to the first 15,000 UAE-based F1® ticket purchasers to the Friday After-Race Concert. 
  • 20% discount on General Admission tickets for selected FLASH events until February 2014. 
What is the local time in Abu Dhabi? 
The UAE is four hours ahead of UTC (Co-ordinated Universal Time - formerly known as GMT) and there is no daylight saving. Hence, when it is 12.00 midday in Abu Dhabi, it is 3am in New York, 8am in London, 10 am in Johannesburg, 1.30pm in New Delhi, and 6pm in Sydney (not allowing for any summer time saving in those countries).

What should I wear when visiting Abu Dhabi? 
Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but something slightly warmer may be needed in winter months. Although the attitude towards dress is fairly liberal throughout the UAE, a healthy amount of respect for local customs doesn't go amiss, especially when shopping or sightseeing. 

What is the official religion in Abu Dhabi? 
Islam is the official religion of the United Arab Emirates, and is widely practiced. The Islamic holy day is Friday and Muslims are required to pray (facing Makkah) five times a day. Abu Dhabi is tolerant of other religions with people being free to practice their religious beliefs, so long as they do not interfere with Islam. 

What is the local currency and what is its current value?
The local currency is the UAE dirham (AED or Dhs) which is divided into 100 fils and is pegged against the US dollar (US$ 1: AED 3.6725).

How much can I expect to spend for a meal in an Abu Dhabi restaurant?
Average dining in popular hotel restaurants ranges between AED100 / US $27 to AED200 / US $55 per person, excluding beverages. In addition, many fine dining and high-end restaurants may add a service charge (usually around 10%) and a tourism levy of 6% to your bill.
