Stay in a hotel in Al Ain and wake up early to catch traders at the country's last remaining camel market near the base of Jebel Hafeet and get up close to the desert way of life. Although you won't buy a camel, take your wallet to buy some handmade camel accessories as they make great souvenir gifts. If you still have the stamina, set out late morning towards the towering Jebel Hafeet. Before you reach the top for fantastic views of the city, enjoy a lunch at the Mercure Hotel.
