Golf Journal names Abu Dhabi ‘Newcomer Destination of the Year’

Abu Dhabi has bagged another golfing award – this time from the prestigious German magazine Golf Journal which named the emirate “Newcomer Destination of The Year’ in its annual honours programme.

Abu Dhabi scored a record-breaking 77,721 points from a judging panel made up of leading German tour operators and respected figures in the country’s golf industry, which saw the emirate fend off strong challenges from Mauritius, Costa Navarino in Greece, Bulgaria and Belek in Turkey.
