The regional finale of the runaway hit ‘Rest Upon the Wind’ world tour will be staged at the opulent Emirates Palace hotel on October 27, as an eye-catching highlight in this month’s emirate-wide EidFest Abu Dhabi celebrations.

This one-night-only show is the last chance to see this revered West End theatrical stage production, based on the life and times of Gibran Khalil Gibran, the third best-selling poet of all time and celebrated author of ‘The Prophet’, which has been published in more than 44 languages and sold over 140 million copies worldwide.

The Nadim Sawalha-scribed play, produced by Ali Matar and directed by Tanushka Marah, is affectionately dubbed  ‘Gibran the Play’ and offers a warm portrayal of family life revolving around the personal struggles of Gibran and his sister, Myrianna, following their family’s emigration from Lebanon to America.

Tickets are available in four categories: Balcony at AED195 (US$52), Standard at AED 275 (US$73), Premium at AED350 (US$93) and VIP at AED500 (US$133), and can be bought from www.timeouttickets.com or via TimeOut Tickets hotline +971 4 210 8943 (800 4669 domestic toll-free number)
