A lavish production with 41 magnificent horses and 36 riders, aerialists, acrobats, performers and musicians from all over the world, Cavalia at Qasr al Hosn will be performed from February 22 to March 1, 2014 as part of the Qasr al Hosn Festival.
Starring 11 different horse breeds including Arabian, Pure Spanish and Miniature, Cavalia takes place under a white, big top that gives the horses ample room to perform with their trainers and artists. A constantly changing digital background projected onto a 60 metre-wide screen will draw spectators into dream-like virtual environments.
This innovative multi-disciplinary production, created by Normand Latourelle, a co-founder of famed Cirque du Soleil, and enjoyed by over four million people across North America, Europe and Australia, has been specially adapted to reflect elements of the UAE culture and is the first show of its kind to be performed in the region.
Tickets starting at AED 250 (US$ 68) are available at www.ticketmaster.ae, and selected Virgin Megastores.
