Set on Saadiyat Island’s serene natural shores, this 400-metre beach, next to the luxurious Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, is a great spot a day out, and to enjoy Abu Dhabi’s clean, warm turquoise waters.
There are lounge chairs, showers, bathrooms, lockers, changing rooms, towels, umbrellas, ample parking and lifeguards are on duty throughout the day. A snack lounge, a shop selling beachwear and sports equipment, and eco-friendly water sports activities, such as windsurfing and sailing, will be introduced gradually starting the third quarter of 2013.
The beach is open daily from 8am to 8pm, and entry is AED 25 (US$ 6.8) for adults and AED 15 (US$ 4.1) for children over six years old. Sun-loungers can be rented for AED 50 (US$ 13.6) on weekdays and AED 75 (US$ 20.4) on weekends. Basic annual membership fees start from AED 500 (US$ 136.2) for adults and AED 1,000 (US$ 252.5) for families. Annual memberships, inclusive of sun-lounger facilities and additional benefits - such as 15% discounts of food and beverages, seven complimentary guest day passes per year and many more - start from AED 2,500 (US$ 681.2) for adults and AED 5,000 (US$ 1,362.4) for families.
