This traditional, heritage rich souk, which dates back to the mid-20th century and has played an important social and commercial role for the population of Abu Dhabi’s second city - Al Ain – will reopen on November 29, adding to the Oasis City’s wealth of attractions.
Featuring various cultural and heritage activities for all the family, including a traditional coffee shop, handicrafts displays, Ayala shows and Oud concerts, lectures on UAE heritage, an art exhibition of drawings and photographs and a heritage photographic studio, the souk will be open daily in December and January, free-of-charge.
