Abu Dhabi roars back into World Rally Championship

Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi and co-driver Scott Martin will contest eight WRC rounds in 2013

A new three-year partnership between Abu Dhabi and eight-time World Rally Championship (WRC) winning manufacturers, Citroën Racing will see the multi-car team compete in all 13 rounds of next year’s WRC calendar - starting in Monte Carlo on January 18.

The UAE’s most successful international rally driver in terms of WRC points, Sheikh Khalid All Qassimi, is back in the championship with Abu Dhabi Total Citroën World Rally Team. Al Qassimi will contest eight WRC rounds next year in the all-new Abu Dhabi-branded DS3 WRC car.
