At a glittering ‘Oscar-style’ gala dinner in the majestic surroundings of the Al Mudhaif Ballroom at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, this year’s 12 Gourmet Abu Dhabi Stars Awards were presented, with Cladys Magagna of the five-star Fairmont Bab Al Bahr named ‘Executive Chef of the Year’.
The ‘Culinary Oscars’ were decided by online public voting and final assessment by an expert judging panel with almost 5,000 votes received.

Restaurant Host of the Year: Soukainia Sagouti, Mezlai, Emirates Palace
Regional Cuisine Chef of the Year: Wafaei A. Zaham, Atayeb, Yas Viceroy
